I saw the title of your article and couldn’t wait to read it! When I think of “funding your online poker account” the first thing that comes to mind is winning! I was hoping for some hard fast rule for that. Don’t you have a magic wand you can wave and make me win a little more consistently? How about some perfect formula or easy calculation that will give me the proverbial “sure bet”? Seriously though, it is a valuable article with lots of good pointers. The first time I deposited my money into an online poker account, I cringed, shut my eyes and waited to see if it disappeared. Well, it didn’t disappear. I had to play a few games before that happened. I would have felt much more secure if there had been resources like this back then. But I had to learn by bumping around the Internet on my own. I think with a little research, players should be confident about putting their money in a reputable online poker account. The growth of the online poker community is phenomenal and members of that community are eager to share information. Poker rooms’ main source of profit is the rake. If there was a whiff of scandal about an online company’s deposit security they could lose a large percentage of their business in short order. So you really don’t have another way for me to fund my online poker addiction? I mean other than using my money?
